Do something creative. For instance my father is a financier, so I made him, a year ago, a picture frame with little money around it. Went to Wal-Mart bought a plain frame, and sawed out miniature dollar bill sized wood chips painted them white and green and so forth. He loved it. Things homemade are better because they come from both your mind, and more importantly your heart. Good luck!

Here's a couple ideas for gifts to get him.
Wallet,Clothes,Ties,Card, make him breakfast/lunch/dinner. And remember, anything you get your father he'll love.Parents love homemade stuff. Even if you don't get him anything, saying Happy Father's day and giving him a hug, should do the trick.

My three kids did something special for me for my 50th birthday - it would work just as well for Father's Day. they each wrote me a one page letter talking about growing up with me as their father and how they felt about me (fortunately it was all good). Then they matted them and put them in a three-picture frame. It now hangs where I can frequently see it and remember.
