THE SHINING creeps me out to this day...with the kid on his big wheel in the hotel's empty hallways, and the naked lady ghost in the tub!
But of more modern movies, or re-makes...HOSTEL stayed with me for a few days due to the realistic concept, and the fact that a club where rich men could pay to kill people isn't so far fetched!!!

I'm not sure if it counts as horror (or suspense or drama), but after SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, I repeated the phrase, "Oh my God" every minute for an entire rapid transit ride!

hostil..still haunts to me know it was based off a true story and people really paid money to torture other humans in that fashion
