there was a woman on tv that induced too much silver at a young age and her skin is permanently changed to a silverish color, it's weird, they dubbed her like "silver woman" or something along those lines.you can probably find it somewehre on the discovery channel website.

Although it is a chemical compound Silver Nitrate leaves a temp. stain on the skin.
