There is an IE extension for firefox so you can render specific tabs in IE if you need to view an IE only site.

Also, Opera 9 has substantially slower HTML speeds than Firefox. It is even slower than IE. (shocking, I know)

I just can't imagine why somebody would prefer a slow and security-flawed browser like IE. It is mind boggling.

Good question..
1. Its already installed on most computers.
2. Alot of people still don't know about it.
3. Most web pages are made for IE and some may not work on FF.
4. Some people like the old classical basic stuff.
5.Some people think it's the only thing just because it says "Internet"

I got both but of course Im a FF fan! :)

Sit your typical PC user in front of a computer and tell them to check their email. First, after telling you that they think they saw a puddy cat, they are going to click on the thing says Internet, which is conveniently installed on every PC by default (I think you know that). Take off the pretty blue "e" from the desktop and watch what happens (I do this sometimes):
Duh...which way did he go? Did I see a puddy cat?

Conclusion:
Your typical PC user is a retard!
