Is it always easy to find?

Oh I love this question!

Facts can be proven. Opinions can not. So if you can take a fact and logically point out evidence that supports it, you know you have a fact. However, an opinion can not be proven to be a fact until it accepted by all. This is simply because with an opinion there will be evidence to support it AS WELL as evidence to disprove it. If you have a room filled with 10 people and the opinion is presented, rarely will you find all 10 agreeing because the evidence is not concrete and factual. It is more abstract. Therefore, it remains an opinion.

Opinions can become facts if a thesis is formed and enough evidence is stated so that by the end of the delivery........ all accept the assumption as now being a fact.

This is usually the case in a trial. The old...... innocent until proven guilty thing.

As far as is it always easy to find? If you can find the facts..... then the difference is easy to see.

Fact and opinion are usually combined to create a news story that is interesting and informative hence the line is not easily discovered or drawn.
