I strongly feel that he was an excellent coach, but could not succeed because of the indifferent attitude of the senior players and lack of support from the Indian Cricket Authorities.

He is the stupidest coach. He tried to promote Irfan Pathan as a batsman but he lost even his bowling form. All the time he experimented with the team (Is Indian team a Guniea pig?) but he produced no great results. It is as important to win the next match as to win the world cup. But he set sight on long term plans only but failed Every time India loses he said we have learnt something from this loss. If he is a learner then why did he chose to coach us?

He always wanted to have his own way. Autocratic style is not acceptable in team sport such as cricket.
