I don't have a problem with it...I'm a product of one. People attach personal beliefs to old stigmas and laws still. It's so silly, that I don't even bother debating or being angry with ignorant opinions.
Those who spend sooo much time concerned with what's going on in other people's bedrooms are obviously lacking action in their own.

Interracial relationships are cool with me. The only reason I could possibly think of not liking one would be that they opened me up to more dating competition! :) Now that I'm married, not even that could be an issue.
I don't know why society has a problem with interracial relationships. In many places, prejudice against them just seems to be accepted as normal. Maybe some folks are threatened by people who are different. Maybe they're concerned about "racial purity," whatever that nonsense is. Or maybe they're afraid to stand up to norms.
I don't think you can say whether blacks or whites have more problems with such relationships. There are folks in both races who are threatened, concerned or frightened by them.

It's kinda stupid, huh? It comes down to innate hatred that many feel. My grandparents were a mixed marriage-- Mexican and Norwegian--but when it comes down to it Mexican is close to white just a more Native American blood. White and black are technically the two most contrasting races. There are a lot of places where they the color lines are blurred, like a comparison of Colin Powell and Pete Sampras, but it they are the largely the two most distinguishable peoples. My feelings are not of the norm. Most people would consider me white even those I'm multi-racial, but it is clear that my girlfriend is black. We are an interracial couple one could say. I've never encountered racism with regard to that but that isn't to say it isn't there but merely no one has brought it to me yet. Interracial couples are also far more common where I live in the Bay Area than say, Montgomery, Alabama. I also have an uncle who is not entirely for our relationship, and he hasn't said it was due to her background I suspect it plays heavily into it. If she looked like Beyoncé would he be trippin'. Her sister is also not for us but I've never met so I don't care. It is also interesting to note that marriages are not considered interracial unless it is black and white. I think with time it will change by attrition because of so many bi- and multiracial people.

Because of slavery days....even if white men fancied, married and raped black women back then. The social taboo about black/white relationships still lingers in this time. I dont really give a damn what society thinks about interracial relationships. I am black and I have a white boyfriend, so anyone who disaprooves can kiss my sexy butt lol.

I believe in people having the right to date whomever this wish. It is none of my business (or that of others). Life and let live, if they aren't harming you, why do others care so much and let it bother them? I surely don't. I have more important things going on in my own life than to worry about the personal lives of others!

i think if your in love with someone who is not of your race and your both happy then so be it. you only get one life and you should live it the way you want. i think most races have the same problems but mostly its from people who cannot open up their minds to change and are not as accepting as they should be to people.

I'm black and I could care less. You like who you like. As long as each person is respected, who cares?

it's historical.
it used to be against the law to have those relationships. courts and judges made those decisions for decades and decades.
hard to overcome history.
