Having an affair never just affects the two people involved, it affects the cheated on spouse, children, the whole family. So don't think if you want to have an affair, you are not hurting anyone but yourself, you are totally wrong, ask me, my son, my family, the ex's family, we can tell you how it feels to have your world turned upside down, because of an affair, also this had been a 30 year marriage.

Not that the person have the affair is sad. The entire situation is a sad as in not a good thing. Having an affair normally means someone is being cheating on. When that person becomes aware of the fact that the person that they love & trust has betrayed them, all sorts of negative things happen.

because its immature and disrespectful. theres no need to be seeing two or more people at the same time, genuine honest people will leave their partner to be with someone else not carry on with both at once. it shows your still a little girl/boy and have yet to grow up a lot, thats sad.

It comes down to the dishonesty and the violation of the trust of another and really yourself. That said, of course their is the emotional and physical upside, but what does that do to the primary relationship and/or family? It is basically living a lie and one that eats away at you.

It's a violation of trust. If you trust someone to be faithful and they aren't it makes the person who has had their trust violated, both sad and angry.
