By throwing bread in your yard for the Birds, and the birds will get the worms too.

Earth worms are NOT making those holes. There is no way a earth worm can make your yard so rough that you cant push your mower. Maybe its a gopher or moles. You dont want to get rid of earth worms they are very helpful in our environment. They are not the ones harming your yard.

I'm not so sure that you can as long as you have earth (smile). They live there and do some good things to your soil. My 6-year says so. She learned in kindergarten this year. You could try hiring someone else to mow you lawn so that you don't have to deal with the worm. My mother was born and raised in Georgia and she is so afraid of worms- image that. She moved to urban Pennsylvania - a long way to get away from the worms. Good Luck - just remember - worms are eco-friendly.

Why would you want to do that? I think you are having a mole problem instead of a worm problem. Earthworms are actually good for you lawn and garden because they keep the soil turned, in other words, are nature's way of aerating. Plus their waste is very good for your soil and grass. Keep your worms and make sure you don't have moles. They make big ruts in your yard and when you step on them they sink. I don't have a suggestion on them but remember you can't go fishing with a mole! Good luck!

Earth worms can't be making your yard as rough as you're describing. Are you sure you don't have moles? They make tunnels and hills that make the lawn lumpy.
