This is why everyone needs to vote Republican in the next election. The next President will have to raise taxes (eg: think Bush Sr. after 8 years of Reaganomics). Might as well be a Republican that needs to clean up Bush's mess, rather than a Dem.

Yes, but in time. This is because Bush has forced us to go into serious debt like his father back in the 1980's. He has started a war just like his father, But if you were to ask me i think Bush doesn't care about the U.S. He started the war in Iraq and now realizes their is going to be no Victory and that's what the U.S citizens want. That next president to be sworn in is not going to clean up this mess, but their will be a clean up, and it will involve the fix of social security and the start of democrats to be on top of home land security.

Not an easy task, the dollar is falling, one dollar equals 0.751 euros and half Brit pound, too much spending, senseless war and alike, not to mention we've been sold to China, maybe it will take three or more presidents to clean up the mess..☺

I'm skeptical. We do need to get out of Iraq. However, it will be a mess whether we leave or stay. I'm not sure any president can realistically change that. It will be a failed policy now or a failed one later.

As long as they are willing to fight the war in Iraq to the end, there will not be a problem. If they pull out of Iraq it will bring new meaning to the word mess.

Well, since the mess is so huge it may take 16 years of Democratic administrations and Congresses to clean it up.
