I really wouldn't personally. The shark can get some good size on him given time and the barbs will very easily hit 2"+ in no time flat. Of course, the pleco will eventually out grow the tank and you will need another small one or a different algae eating fish.

The main reason I wouldn't add any more fish is that the fish you have are rather rough and tumber fish. The shark doesn't like to be crowded and the barbs will get nasty with tankmates if they don't have plenty of room so I wouldn't crowd things at all and instead let those guys get some good size on them.

choose for a 20 gallon. there are in straightforward terms some fish that could stay in a 10 gallon tank, yet with a 20 gallon you may get tetras, dwarf cichlids, livebearers, and different small-medium sized fish. Plus, the water circumstances are extra solid in a 10 gallon. A 20 long has an excellent footprint for fish.

I would not. Keep on eye on the Pleco because if it is a standard type it will get BIG. One thing to remember when buying a fish is that they do NOT grow to the size of the tank. Example I have a standard pleco in a 30 gallon. When Ii first brought it home it was about 4 inches long. One year later it is about 9 inches long and I had to move it to a 50 gallon.

Over-stocking is sometimes a good thing, if you have too much aggression in your tank over-stocking can stem the aggression and possibly prevent any deaths.

As for the questions, maybe a few more barbs, they are pretty cool in nice size schools.

Well, for every fish (goldfish, bettas etc), it has to be an gallon. If the fish 2x bigger than a betta, then thats 2 gallons! lol figure it out from there =).

Yes, but not to many as you will be close to over stocking.
