Funny reading...several of you defending a mass murderer like Sadaam Hussein, while bashing Bush. How many UN resolutions did Sadaam break again?

And what does that have to do with anything? No one is denying that Gore, as a senator, was a major warhawk.

Did you notice the date on this 1992. Did you also know during the 80's we armed and funded osama Bin Laden. Also armed and funded Sadaam Hussien against Iran. Since 1992 Iraq's power in the world severly diminished. Yes he did give money to suicide bombers who killed Israelis, but there were no links to Sadaam and 9/11 sadaam and Al Qaeda, and Sadaam and the greater war on terror. Yes he probably had some support for Al Qaeda, but it was widely known sadaam was not a religous phantic like many of the terror groups.

What an idiotic grasp at straws

This was regarding Iraq being linked to an assasination in Isreal

HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IRAQ AND AL QUIEDA
OR IRAQ AND THE 9/11 TRAGEDY

It was politically expedient then.

Now such thinking is "double plus ungood" according to the Ministry of Truth.

Saying Bush lied about Iraq is disingenuous in the extreme. People who accuse Bush of lies and distortions are engaging in such behavior themselves.

Maybe if Democrats had just said Bush is wrong instead, and had run a better candidate, they would have won in 2004.

PS look at how thin Gore was! I was thinner then too. :(

16 years ago. Do you always live in the past or just when it works to your favor?

8 years ago Bush didn't believe in nation building. Now he does.

What's your point??
