If you jump high enough. Assuming Cuba is 90 miles from Key West at it s closest point, an observer would have to be approximately 5,442 feet above sea level at this Key West point to see Cuba.

No you cannot. Cuba is about 90 miles south of Key West. On a clear day you can only see about 30 miles. Anything further than that is hidden by the curve of the earth.

If you were an eagle or in a plane above the keys. Thinking again, no, you cant. When I went to cuba last year, when the keys were visible from the plane, cuba was not in the picture yet. maybe yes! Haha, what a question!

On a clear day and with good vision...no. Close though.

I was in cuba and we could see FL just barely, and mostly because we could see a space shuttle launch and it clarified where to look.

No, you can only see about 8 miles on the horizon, and Cuba is not very tall.

At 106 miles (170 km), no way.

Standing up (at 1.7m tall) the horizon is 4.7km away

Get up to 2,300m (90,000ft) and youll see it

I think you might, its only 50 miles away, you might need binoculars to make something out of it because land is flat and cuba is land, its not like in those old pirate movies that land was a mountain and easy to see.

No, it's too far away, even with binoculars - It is also 90 miles away at the closest point, if I remember right.
