We're on the only track there is. Sometimes it turns right, sometimes it turns left. If it's not going your way, you deal with it and vote in the next election and hope things start going better. Polls, and whining about polls, do nothing other than create a class of complainers.

I think we're on the wrong track and I blame George Bush and the people he choose to be around him in government. He got us into this war, he left us massive debt, no advancement in schools or health care, the international community hates us and I can't actually think of anything good that he has done. I don't think the polls are wrong, I think people are fed up with being ignored in favor or big interest groups. How can you think it's Liberal Dems and the "liberal" media. The media is not liberal regardless of who is telling you otherwise.

In my opinion, America is on the wrong track. We need direct, honest and committed leadership to actively engage the problems in America and have a better foreign policy strategy than the one we have currently. In both cases, foreign and domestic issues, America is not setting a high standard once admired by the global community. Wew cannot even work to repair and restore the Gulf Coast region of our own country due to Hurricane Katrina but yet and still we are hell-bent on supplanting a democratic regime in the Middle East. Our values right now are out of step with the needs of the American people and the time has come for all the political bantering to stop and get some real work accomplished!!!

the usa is so far off coarse its stupid. you have few if any friends other then canada and britian and most of the world hates your goverment and your people even as tourists.
you should get your military out on the streets in the usa to rid it of the gangs and drugs . bring all the troops home and keep them home .
stop doing stupid things like rebuilding new orleans its a flood zone duh.
make small cars.
meet the kayoto accord targets.
treat global warming with the same will and determination as if it were a war on your soil.
have bush arrested for starting a war he new was totally based on a lie.
use your troops to build a fence to keep the illegal mexicans out and to rid the country of the ones you already have then develop a work permit system that can be managed.
fix the fact that millions of people dont have any kind of home other then the streets in the usa.
search goods coming in to sea ports and all places of entry into the usa.
get rid of most unions the auto ones for sure or you will have no car companies left.
set huge rewards for inventors of things that will work to improve the planets condition.
dont let any more muslims move to your place.
figure out why 1/3 of all the people in the usa are involved in the justice system in some way .
reform your police system it is a joke no communication from one state to another .
get free medical care for every person and make it the same care for every person .
teach your children in school all about other countries so that your people dont have such a terrible lack of knowledge of the rest of the world .

There was a new poll out yesterday. I think only 19% said the US was on the right track!
Since it seems that Republicans are dropping their support of Bush, they are apparently blaming him to some extent. But you're entitled to your own opinion on how to read the polls. When a ship is sinking, there are usually many contributing factors.

George Bush is the number one problem, his ratings are not very low for no reason, We have had 6 years of his nonsense, god forbid what damage he may do in the next 18 months.

Right track, but wrong train.
We were starting to head in the right direction, but then the Dems won control of Congress in last year's election and pulled the emergency brakes.

really? do you think that the Dem's and the media forcibly shoved GWB's head up his own butt?
the only reason congress's approval rating is down is not because of an action but rather the lack of action in regards to slapping GWB down for his BS.

i have found that history generally repeats its self. we could use some better political guidelines. The USA needs to focus on what is going on in this country. And, people need to hear the information and vote.
