Here's the real reason, regardless of what else you hear...
The Gap has always sold clothing that ONLY fit skinny, teenagers...their targeted consumer.
If you had a waist size bigger than a 32 you had a problem finding anything to wear there.
Now that America has grown increasingly fatter, and this is a fact, thanks to their fat, lazy asses eating nothing but fast food and sitting in front of the TV, there no longer is a market for the Gap style causing them to finally having to close their doors.

I don't beleive it is. They are closing their chain Forth & Towne, but they are focusing on trying to fix Gap and Old Navy. The company is seeing huge drops in profit for store sales. However, as of June 13 they reported increased web site sales and are still trying to fix their company.

all i know is that it has to do with the ceo or president of Gap... basically the clothes have not been too appealing lately and this person has no past experience in the fashion industry and it is affecting the Creative Design aspect.

Where did you hear of this? Gap is going out of buisiness? I never heard this! If they are, they probably weren't as popular.

I havent heard something approximately that, yet so a techniques as i'm in contact its no longer that prevalent with young human beings. i dont quite care if its goin out of commercial agency cuz i dont keep there ; yet for you sake i'm hoping it doesnt so yoou could possibly keep aty your well-known keep (i cant think of how i might experience in the event that they closed down MY well-known keep)
