This is for MY argument only. I listen to Sean Hannity and see what he has done for the troops in Iraq (my brother in law has seen what he has done). I don't know what Franken has done.
Since I'm on the subject, how can I hear Air America in Phoenix, Arizona so I can get a true "balance" on my opinion of the Demcrats?

Libs - for starters, I pay my taxes and I vote. I support my troops and even send care pakages with my own money. Why do you constantly have to ask, "what have you done?", "why aren't you fighting in Iraq?" Here's my question to you then libbies, "What have YOU done?".

Kawai - Your statement: "If you state taxes are part of your effort, Al Franken probably earns quite a bit more than you do, so your effort would be less than his." I'm not keeping tabs on who does the most. So since I'm not a millionaire my contribution doesn't count? Is it safe to assume your contributing or your family's doesn't either? I think that your military family gives you honor and makes me proud :) Tell them thank you for their service and sacrifice.

Franken has made USO type trips to Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan. I think he's gone 5 or 6 times.

Al Franken has been doing USO Tours since 1999 in Kosovo and has done at least five tours. He isn't on Air America anymore

What have you done?

Edit: I do the same. I also come from a military family. They oppose the war, yet are there fighting with their heart and lives.

Beyond that you're the one that started the finger pointing to begin with. If you state taxes are part of your effort, Al Franken probably earns quite a bit more than you do, so your effort would be less than his.

Who cares about Al Franken anyway? Why is he the barometer for the left?

And for god's sake, put a shirt on. Geez. Nobody wants to see that.

Philip H. - What do people on the extreme right do for anybody either? Anybody on the extreme anything is usually doing something stupid...

Our troops over there can use all the laughs they can get and Franken's wit - to those who 'get it' - is probably welcomed.

He's tried to get them home before they die for no reason. What have you done?

Response: I vote and pay my taxes. Every time I shop I buy extra stuff for the box at the front of the store for the troops. I contribute money to the Disabled American Veterans and I have lobbied my congressman and senators to end this farce.

He went off the air.....
But while you all want to give him accolades, this is what he really thinks:

"Al Franken says he loves to perform for U.S. troops overseas.
"I love and honor our troops," he insists.
Maybe he does while on the USO tours and amid the avalanche of goodwill publicity those tours generate for him when he returns.
But consider this parody, called "Sorry," included on Franken's CD "The O'Franken Factor":

Sorry 'bout the prisoners
Sorry they got raped
Sorry they got tortured
Sorry it got taped ...

Believe me when I say their apology is sincere
I'm awfully sorry for that broomstick up their rear ...

Yeah, he love's the military.....

Al Franken and George Soros who finance Air America have proven once and for all that the extreme leftists have NO integrity, courage, honesty or respect for America.
That proof is so graphic that ALL can easily recognize their views should be ignored and their ideals belong on the trash heap of all failed Marxist philosophy!

I don't know that Al Franken has done anything for anyone but Al Franken.

He pats them on the back....finding a good place to stab them later.

Air America? That's a good one. Good luck finding it. I am sure you and the other 3 people listening will get some good old liberal tripe.

Sean Hannity rocks!
