If you have 5 of x, and x equals 3.5, what is the value of 5x? Then the value of 5x times the square root of 144!! divide that by 13, then multiply times the sum of 2+2!!

If anyone gets this without the use of a calculator, I will be amazed!!!!

Do you mean [sqrt (144)] ! ! or [sqrt (144 !! )] ?
Either way the number is too large to type.

After simplification, you get
(5x) * y / 13 * (2 + 2!!)
where y = sqrt (144) !! or whatever that is supposed to be.
2 + 2!! = 2 + 2 = 4
x = 3.5
So 5x = 17.5
17.5 * 4 = 70

So you end up with 70 / 13 * y

**EDIT**
The other answers left out hte factorials. Or are those just exclamation marks?
Then the problem is simply
5(3.5)(12)(4) / 13
= 14*60/13 = 840/13
Now 780 / 13 = 60
so 845/13 = 65
840 / 13 = 64 + 8/13
= 64.615...

If you have 5 of x

x + x + x+ x + x

and x equals 3.5

3.5 + 3.5 + 3.5 + 3.5 + 3.5

the value of 5x

17.5

the value of 5x times sqrt(144)
is the same as 5x times 12

(17.5)(12)
= 210

divide by 13

210 / 13
= 16 + 2/13

multiply by the sum 2 + 2
is the same as multiply by 4

(16 + 2/13)(4)
= 64 + 8/13

So, the answer to your math challenge is 64 + 8/13.

5*3.5 = 17.5 √144 = 12 and
17.5*12 = 17*12 +6 = 204 + 6 = 210
210/13 = 16 + 2/13. Now 2 + 2 = 4, so
4*(16 + 2/13) = 64 + 8/13
All without a calculator.
Actually, that's not quite true...... The very finest calculator in the known Universe is setting between your ears. It's just that most people never trouble themselves to get off their dead αsses and give up MTV long enough to learn how to use it ☺

If I understand your question correctly, your answer is 21.7.
First you multiply 5 times 3.5 which is 18.5. Next, you multiply 18.5 times 12 which is the square root of 144 and get 222.0. Divide that by 13 and you get 17.70 and then add 4 and you get 21.7. I hope that helps you out, and by the way I used a pen and paper to get this answer.

5x=17.5
5x times square root of 144= 210.
210/13=16.5
16.5 * 4 = 66

Using fractions, the exact answer is:

840 / 13

I'm only going to do one decimal place in my head because that's all I feel like doing, so the answer is about 64.6

x=3.5

5x=17.5

17.5x12=210

Here is where I needed the calculator

210/13 = 16.15

16.15 x 4 = 64.6
