How come <s> and </s> doesn't work on MySpace anymore?

It really annoys me!

I use a different blogging client, but my guess is that someone at some point has abused that tag. Just as the tag is generally disabled nowadays, some sites may choose to block strikethrough. It's probably a response to overuse of the tag in inappropriate situations.

However, other blogging services, such as blogspot or LiveJournal, may still allow . If it starts to really get to you, you can always start a new blog at one of those sites. ^^

It was supposed to go away eventually ("deprecated"): use CSS! - ...words...
