i have ALWAYS used Yahoo! for all my research needs...in my opinion it is the best search engine around! i think it is more reliable than Google lol. but i realize that Google may be more popular.

i find yahoo to be better. google is swamped by those annoying comparison shopping sites that have every word imaginable in their tags so that they come out top

I use Yahoo first and see if I get the results I am looking for. This is because it is easier for me just to put the words in the blank on my browser which is for the Yahoo search engine. If this doesn't work then I use Google. I have done several searches where Google got me the results I wanted where the others failed.

Even though Yahoo! is my homepage, I tend to use Google more because it has a less cluttered interface than Yahoo!
I use Google more at college too because Yahoo! is blocked by the stupid internet proxy by being a 'media page'. Grrr.

I am a Google fan . I have Google as my homepage, do all my research for images, web pages, and also use Google Earth!

Yahoo! Not for any particular reason, I think most search engines are more or less the same, and Yahoo! is the one I have installed on my toolbar.

I think the results are about the same. However I use Google for the less cluttered interface.
