Trowa? Not to be rude, but to me it sounds just like any other ghetto name. Does it have any meaning?

I like Demetrius... I think it's Greek in origin. Never heard of the name Trowa... It's very unique. So, I guess you named the little guy a name that was just what you were aiming for.

Demetrius is a very nice name, but Trowa is probably going a little too far with the uniqueness. Children are cruel.

Something to consider- names ending with an A tend to be girl's names, so there may be some confusion here with a name that is this uncommon. How about Trevor? Sounds very similar but is more recognizable, and not especially common, but at least familiar to many people. "Ghetto" is relative I guess, and I would consider Trowa to be Ghetto. Interesting how everyone thinks differently.

To be honest I don't really care for it. Trowa? No. But I do like Demetrius! Maybe you could switch Demetrius as the first and Trowa as the middle?

But then again, it doesn't matter if we like it or not. It all depends on you and him. Right?

The name you give is good enough but I think you just have to change the Trowa, sorry but it's too unique which sometimes can make your kid embarace! :D How about other Greek and Roman's God's name? They're way so cool, you know.. Well, maybe Apollo as the first name or Hermes maybe? I got this cool name, Dyonisus (The Wine God) but I don't think you'd like the meaning. He's like the God of wine so related to alcohol. However, it sounds cool, isn't it?

I think that - if it is not too late - you should swap his names around - Demetrius Trowa. Im not sure how well 'Trowa' would go in the school yard.

Not so sure about Trowa, but I like Demetrius very much!
Troya or Troy sounds better to me. Demetrius Troy would have been great!

You are asking for opinions but regardless of what anyone here says, it's your choice, your baby and by the sounds of it, he's named already so . . . . well, it sounds like a done deal!

My thoughts? Well, Trowa. It's awful Sorry. And get ready for one very upset child coming home from school when the bullies realise that his name is 'A Wort' backwards - yeah, I know those horrid things you get on your fingers are spelled wArt, but hey - kids are kids and it sounds exactly the same . . . .

Anyway - you had your baby last night and you are posting questions on Yahoo today??? Wow . . . . you recover quick . . . .
