I am 13 years old and a readaholic. It's the summer and I really need some good books to read. I love *appropriate* teen romance and fantasy like Harry Potter. Please, if you can give me the author's name and a little description of the book for me that'd be great. Thanks sooooooo much!

Hmm.. Books. I, as I am called by my friends, a bookworm. I love reading and guess what? I am a teen too. I am 15 and I started reading since I was 11. As a start, I started by reading the legendary Harry Potter series and I am still in anticipation of the final book (believe me it is good and I still like it). Now, I am into big stuff for big people, like, Jeffrey Archer, Agatha Christie, Sidney Sheldon, Michael Collins, Stephen King, John Grisham, Dan Brown and all these artistic people. There is a book by John Grisham, which is called “The Street Lawyer”, it is out of the ordinary, if u really like reading then u would like it. I am sure that, at your age, these books would literally make u drool over the book from tediousness, but u asked for it. Give it a try.
Anyway, here is a list of books:-
Gone With the wind, To kill a mocking bird, The fourth estate, The testament, A murder is announced, Sleeping murder, The Brethren, Everything’s Eventual, Skipping Christmas, State of fear, The Broker and much more.
By the way these are novels, I don’t expect u read Winnie the pooh anymore hehe. Have fun.

Anything by Betty Smith (Tree Grows in Brooklyn was great). The time frame is 1910's or so - usually in New York. Usually about a young girl like you.
Happy Reading and I hope you get lots of suggestions.
