Well I have found my soul mate and I married him. However, I looked great back then, so I could get any guy I wanted. If you are ...uh..plain, then just forget about that soul mate crap. Stop looking for someone perfect and find someone to love. find someone with an ugly face who can't do better than you, but don't settle for just anybody, make sure he has the personality of someone you want to spend the rest of your life with.
If you do it at night, with the lights off, it does'nt matter what your partner looks like. Even if he looks great now, in a few years he will get old

If you Wished for a mate, no telling what you'll get. I have been single for 15 years, was married for 10 years. I have put my relationship in the Lord's hands. Cause i know He won't do me wrong. Good Question and Yes, my * button works, and this question gets one.

What I would be looking for would be love, caring, kind, honest, reliable and honorable. I don't think that should be too much to ask for. So, I will stay alone if I can't have that.
Settling is why I had a rotten marriage.

no. I would never settle. I go through them like icream cones and eventually the right one will come and in the mean time, just have a blast and enjoy life.
never settle just keep on shopping.

i wouldn't settle for less.i am proud to be a single woman.you know why because i've been there done that knida thing.so settling for just a so-so relationship is not my thing.someday you will find the rigth man then you would'nt have to settle for so-so anymore.

You have to be comfortable with yourself in order to be alone and be okay with it.
At different times I've taken both paths and they worked.
