I don't think it is. Most of us are very unhappy when we are gaining weight. I had a friend who told me he was desperate to put on some weight. He said being thin really hurt him. I told him to eat junk, especially before bed. He despised training and all exercise. I always seen him as lucky, eating like a pig and never gaining. I met him one day a few years later in a gym. He had gained about 10lbs, and he was exercising vigorously. He was absolutely terrified of his little weight gain, so the stuff he told me a few years earlier was bullcrap.

Nah, it may feel comforting for an hour or so while you eat, but I don't believe any person who tells me they are happy being fat. Or that they are happy gaining weight, cause they are utterly miserable inside. When I gain weight, I am the unhappiest person alive. And its not fun gaining it, and worse fun taking it off.

That's an easy one - to gain weight you usually eat more of your favourite foods - usually the wrong type of stuff!! The more you eat, the more you gain. It's fun !!
But to lose weight, you have to eat better food - mainly stuff most of us don't like - and exercise more which gets harder in winter. Not exactly rocket science stuff , huh ??

I'm actually having fun losing weight. I have a job now that is very physically demanding, and I'm gaining muscle and confidence.

You're kidding, right?

It's because exersize isn't usually fun. Because it's work.

And it takes some 3,000 calories to lose 1 pound, and that's pretty much one meal at McDonalds.

So with that theory, it's easy to see how much harder it is to lose weight, than to put it on.

Because depriving yourself is never fun, but when you lose the weight, it sure is rewarding. I always feel better when I don't take seconds.
