Absolutely...unless arrest warrants are good around the Solar System. If they can deport you back to the planet you're wanted in, then forget it. Oh, and this new planet must have a brewery and there cannot be a Rosie O'Donnell on this planet.

Perhaps in several hundred years or never. PERHAPS: Mars is the only possible candidate planet on which humans can land. At present, we don't have the technology to keep a small crew alive for the 22 month round trip to Mars. A small crew on Mars for an exploratory trip could technically be called a colony. Beyond the technology barrier, the cost of transporting a very few people, equipment, supplies and fuel for the trip would bankrupt the entire Earth. It is difficult to get a feel for how far away Mars is, or how expensive it is to get anything off the Earth. NEVER: As far as ordinary people living their lives and raising families on Mars as they would in a village, it’s not possible (apologies to science fiction fans). The difficulties are immense. An extreme amount of support from Earth would be required for the colonists merely to stay alive. Every part of daily life would need high technology to accomplish on Mars. With a single malfunction, all or most would die. The surface of Mars and space in general is the most hostile environment humans have ever experienced. It would be far easier, cheaper and safer to build a village on the bottom of the ocean. Sorry, this one Earth is all we get. .

Without a doubt. Just imagine, crime would be at a minimum, the air would be fresh, the water clean, opportunity for government, as well as vast amounts of land. It would be a great experience and I would do it in a heartbeat.

Only if I had total control over the rules and such. That way I could start fresh and prove that there are better ways to run this place.
