They are already almost unbeatable when Bonderman or Verlander start, and they are mediocre when enybody else does. When Kenny Rogers returns, and they have three excellent starters, will they become the team to beat?

I believe the Tigers are the best team now. When Rogers comes back he will solidify the pitching and he will give the Tigers an added advantage in the playoffs and experience in the clubhouse. I believe the Tigers could win it all with or without Rogers. I am looking at all of this objectively because I am a Dodger fan.

They will become better but the Indians are also getting one of their top starters back, Jake Westbrook. Both are very good starters and will help their team improve. Rodgers(Rogers of Rodgers?)and Westbrook are 2 of the 4 pitchers who have won at least 14 games every year since 2004. I believe with both teams getting their starters back will even out. It looks to be an exciting race.

YES this is an easy question. Take a good hard look at the starting line up for starters, you can't hit around anyone, ANYONE! Maggs is the best hitter in the league right now and Placido is right behind him, Sheff is finally out of his shell and up there in power numbers, Brandon is coming around (finally) Carlos is playing like Carlos the only hole in the offence that I see is Sean Casey, he is not playing like he needs to be but he is the greates guy to have in the clubhouse so im not complaining. When Kenny gets back and Nate is better we will have the top starting rotation in all of baseball Jeremy, Kenny, Justin, Nate and Mike, period.
When zoom zoom gets back we can send Fernando's sorry a_ss down to AAA and bring someone else up that is willing to actually TRY when he is on the mound. I would actually like to see a Fernando trade but I dont think that will happen.
When everyone is healthy its gonna be hell on everyone who steps foot in the Tigers path!

Let me start with I am a Tigers fan. As far as your question. Probably not, they will definitely be better, but until Zumaya gets back, and they trade Fernando "Fer-Rod" Rodney for a better long reliver, they will still have trouble in the 7th and 8th innings. I like Jonesy, but he isn't a great closer either. The bullpen is really what is keeping us from being the best team. Go Tigers.

No who cares about Rogers coming back so what the best rotation is still Oakland especially when they get Harden back. The Tigers will not become the team to beat it will still be the Red Sox sorry.

Yes, when Rogers and Zumaya return. Had the pitching last year and this year we have the bat's. So when the pitching comes back start engraving the rings.
