My Mother and Grandmother have passed away. Neither one of them was too much into desserts, but I remember when I was a little girl, that my grandmother had a peach tree and during the summer, she would let us kids pick a peach and she would peel it and slice it, put it in a bowl with sugar and cream. Loved that. And even though my Mother was not good at desserts, she was the best cook. I really miss her.
Thanks for the question. Brought back great memories.
