Kobe's highest year being 46.9% and lowest year being 41%

(kobe's playoff numbers are even worse)

Kobe has had 5 years where he shot under 44% in the playoffs. terrible. and you guys call him a great scorer.

hey basketnutz on the bottom

kobe took it to the rim until 2005, he was always trying to take it to the rim and shot alot less 3's, Kobe shot anywhere from 41% - 44% during the years he took it to the rim.

in the 1996 Jordan made 50% of his 3 point attempts.

Zero and three.

Forty-seven is a rather odd number to just randomly choose. It wouldn't happen that in asking this question that you already knew the answer to you might just be trying to make LeBron look better than Kobe would it?...

A more detailed analysis of Kobe's offense would take notice to the fact that Kobe shoots a lot of 3's which is why his % is lower. He takes way more then Jordan ever did. But his 3 point % is still above average.

Kobe is being double teammed every time he touches the ball. And he is an average sized guard, not some big center or jacked foward that can plow through everyone with their strength. So he is shooting off balanced fadeaways rather than finger rolls and dunks.

Does it really matter.... I mean they are the only two players in the NBA that can some what remind you of watching Michael Jordan. They are the only reason people even watch the NBA anymore.
