Try kayak.com. You can put in your city pair, the dates you want to travel, and then the web site will scan Orbitz, CheapTickets, and all the airline web sites to tell you who has the least expensive tickets for the dates you requested. It will then offer to take you to that website to purchase the ticket if you choose to.

Wrong!, Wrong! Wrong!. Get your BEST deal from any of the many on line travel consolidators, THEN go to that airlines website and purchase the same, exact itinerary DIRECTLY from the airline. You then eliminate the travel consolidators commission. Also purchase as far in advance as possible to take advantage of those 14 & 21 day discounts.

I have had good luck naming my own price with priceline.com. However, if you accept the accommodations, you must absolutely be on time. I learned from fellow Greyhound travelers- who were taking the bus with me because they had been late for their Priceline flight - that Priceline sold their seat and they had no recourse and no refund. I suppose this is how Priceline is able to sell flights so cheaply. Although I had good luck with Priceline, I mostly use Expedia because they are not as rigid.

try cheaptickets.com or overstock.com They have a travel section. Also sometimes it's better to go directly to the airline's website to find deals.
