i bought hp deskjet 5440 ? as you guys told me?
it has a 5ml cartridge , iam ruuning out of ink , is there any way i can save ink ,. any print settings . what should i do.
also
whenever i print i find ink on the foams under the cartridge (normal position ) is this a leak

I guess that is the starting cartridge the printer came with they are smaller than the regular ones - otherwise buying new printer would be cheaper than buying ink cartridges.
Have a look in the printer settings - there should be an ink saving mode (not sure though)
Remember that pictures printed use a lot more ink than text does. Cartridge live is normally calculated on text pages with an ink coverage of 5% of the paper surface.
Buying refill ink can save money but not everyone likes fiddling around with that refill stuff (needles etc)
