I would always allow at least a couple of months for things to get back to normal after being on any kind of hormonal birth control.

If you are still using depo, there is a small possibility you could get pregnant b/c no method is 100%

My doctor told me that depo has a half life. That it could take as long as 3 months after stopping it to get pg. Of course, if you are having normal periods then it could be less time.

Took me 3 months off the shot to get my period back on track.

I was on depo and got pregnant. It ended in miscarriage and I had tons of health problems afterwards. That ordeal was what caused me to quit the depo.

It took 6 months for me to get it out of my system and become pregnant.
The Dr. said it could take up to a year, but it took less for me. Everyone is different.

Technically like 0.01 %.
But honestly, you can never be too sure.

The only sure-fire way not to get pregnant is to not have sex.
