u'll need a floppy disk than creat it a windows start up disk

to creat a start up disk right click on a:\ drive > Format > check on MS-Dos Start up disk...

then insert that disk and restart ur pc then u'll be located to a:\ then if u want to formate c:\, do this

format/q c:\ enter

it'll say all tha data will delete from disk go for yes
than it'll ask u for a Volume label
u can give a label to that drive if u wish or enter for skip

do the same if u want to format ur any drive just change the drive like "c:\" or "d:\"...
