How do I remove my name from the computer registry of an old windows 98 computer?

Click start> Run> type Regedit>Enter <-Opens registry editor
From menu click Edit> Find "Type your name in" hit enter
Then double click the string with your name in it and replace it with somthing like "User"
Hit F3 to continue search and replace them as you find them
Then just exit regedit when you cant find anymore.
Reboot and your name is now "User"

You can spend 10 minutes doing this or what Elfageek suggested spend 1 - 2hrs reinstalling windows.
