Can I develop psychic ability?

How can I answer this question? I'm not psychic. I don't know what you're thinking. Half the time, I don't even know what the heck _I'M_ thinking!

So, you've alrready noticed that you seem to have a special gift.

The ability to read minds directly, see into the future, etc., has never been proven to exist in any consistent way. When put to the test, it is just not there.

That said, you can, indeed, do some amazing things just by being observant and asking "steering" questions. The sources of information on how to do this are, oddly enough, books on being an effective sales person and criminal interrogation, for these are the fields where understanding non-verbal "cues" are very important. Psychology is another area worth a course or two at your community college. You've certainly had the experience of people telling you one thing while meaning something completely different -and you can TELL. Happens between lovers all the time.

So, work with the senses you HAVE -you'd be amazed at what they can do. I already did it to you -when I opened with a good "guess" at what made you interested in the first place. See?

PS: I noticed one respondent advised you to guess who's calling you for a week. Bogus test, because you already know who it COULD be. If you want to use the "telephone test," try guessing who called ME for a week.

i think if we are to do so we would develop the ability to do so in the pre-speech ( first year or so ) early part of our life.

I studied linguistics and a potentailly relevant thing I learned was that pre-speech babies can tell the difference between all possible sounds that a human can utter, they lose the ability to differentiate these sounds as they learn their mother tongue and can then only differentiate sounds which are uttered in words in that language.

it's not a scientific answer, just a tangential theory .

I have also attempted telekinesis with belief I would succeed ( I did not succeed) not that it proves my theory in any way.

I tend to doubt it, but then again, I don't much believe in psychic ability in general.

Try guessing who is calling every time you get a call for a week. Mentally note if you get it right but do not discuss this with anyone. See if you can predict accurately at the end of a week :)

i think you have to be open to everything around you. there are books written by psychics that teach you exercises to try and see if you have the gift!
