i recently bought a pc with windows vista it was extremly slow so i added 1 gig worth of ram it is slightly faster but still the same as an xp with 512mb is it possible to add at least another gig on a 32bit operating system

32bit, theoretically can address up to 4 gigs (4096 MB). Most 32bits motherboard can already address that maximum value of 4 gigs, just make sure you have 4 RAM slots to do so.

You need a fast processor and graphic cards too it you are running its Aero interface and all those fancy stuff.

You can add as much RAM as you want, but the limits of the motherboard to recognize the extra RAM is important. So check the specs of your motherboard for the limit of RAM.

You need to add as much ram as possible. Vista is a resource hog!!!
