It really depends. The art or skill of massage is common in Asia. There is Thai, Indian, Filipino and others. Some are therapeutic and in some cases sensual but not sexual.
However if you are in a very conservative or Muslim society, massage can be a bit of an issue since it involves very intimate physical contact.

It can be either. Therapeutic massage can get very close to the genitals and yet be quite proper. Sexual massage on the other hand is more attentive to the erotic zones, and is less penetrating ( except in certain areas).

It depends on if it is a swedish massage or full body massage, swedish massages, are usally the non-private parts, whereas a full body massage is just that a full body massage.

If your girlfriend or boyfriend does it, then it's sexual. If you go to a spa, strictly non-sexual. If you go to a "massage parlor" that's actually a house of prostitution, then you get what you pay for -- and anybody who pays for sex is a loser.

When I'm in the sexual mood it's a sexual massage.
When I'm just doing it to relieve someone's tension, it's not sexual.

depending on the atmosphere....if u are in a spa it is strictly NOT! I work in one....believe me, they are not lookin at ya like that
