Travelling a lot on business, I always have spare change -- it just seems to fall to the bottom of the purse and pool there. So what I usually do is when I am finally home, I empty it out, put it in a baggie, and yes, when I go out and about and want a soda as I am doing my activities, the spare change is spent! So that is what happens -- the baggie goes to the car's little gloveboxes and is used up very slowly.

I throw mine in a candy bowl (I don't use it for Candy anyway, cuz it always gets to my mouth first, somehow). But I often end up digging through for the quarters when I'm flat broke, so I can get something I can't wait for until the paycheck! Eventually I plan to roll the stuff and bring it to the bank and start a trust fund for my son, or something.

I put it in a Folgers coffee container that I have beside my desk at work. When my best friend was growing up her dad made the family empty their pockets everyday & put their change in the vacation fund jar & each summer they would take a family vacation on the change. It is amazing how much you can accumulate.

That's a lot better than what I do with mine. I buy a Dubble Bubble gumball from the machine at Walmart and start chewing before I realize that I hate Dubble Bubble gumballs...
