Yes I do, but I believe it's more complex that just two people being complete soul mates. I think that many people can connect on different, deep levels and can be considered soul mates in a way, and those are the people we call friends. True friends. I also believe that there can be that one person who is perfectly designed to fit another person like a perfect puzzle piece, and if that's a true and complete soul mate, then there you have it :)

I do, but maybe not the way some others might. I think that you don't have just one true soul mate out there in the world and if you don't find that person, you're doomed to a loveless, lonely life. I also believe I was lucky enough to find a soul mate.

I have a friend whose husband died in a car accident. They were soul mates. But I believe she can find another person to love - not in exactly the same way, but as deeply.

So, do I believe in "soul mates"? I guess it depends on the definition.

Yes, yes I do. I am very fortunate, as I found my soul mate while on vacation when I was 16 years old. We dated 3 years living 150 miles apart, got married when I was 19 & now I am 41. July 27 will be our 22nd wedding anniversary. Our relationship is like a fine wine, it improves with age.

no..this term can be used once you think you found a person whom you wish to spend rest of your life with...but for others who are looking and seeking soul mates, that is bit silly...because what if your soul mate lives in the middle of nowhere in Nigeria and there is only one soul mate for you? lol

In a way, yes. I don't believe there is ONLY one person for everyone, but I do believe that there is someone out there God has for me... but if for whatever reason our paths don't cross that doesn't mean I won't be head over heels in love with someone else. I believe you find someone who you love and they slowly become your soulmate. You learn the ins and outs of each other and then all of a sudden one day you wake up and decide, this person is my soulmate.

I never used to. Even suspected love was just some cheesy lie hollywood uses to make money off.
But now I'm not so sure. When I look into my loves eyes and I loose myself in their smile. I know love.
And the idea of soulmates doesn't seem so far fetched after all.
