My little chihuahua.... I went through a bad breakup with my boy a couple months ago. We were together for three years so I know exactly how it feels to be lonely when you are so used to sleeping with someone then to have to sleep alone. My guy cheated on me so it was a good decision and it sounds like you are better off without your guy too. If your lonely, cuz really I think nights are the worst after a breakup cuz you just sit there and think about stuff, get yourself a puppy or if you don't have the time for a puppy, a kitten. You won't feel as alone and plus, they're a joy to have around! Try listening to soothing music or falling asleep with the tv on if you have trouble sleeping.... or, Tylenol pm works wonders! good luck and stay strong. You know you are better off without him and just know there are other people who have gone through the same thing and we will all tell you that you are doing the right thing. Stay Strong!

There are no 'prescribed list of actions' to be followed over this, ''Nothing is written in stone''. Nothing has really changed in your relationship other than an an admission or two and a sense of awareness about each others feelings. And given that, I'd personally suggest that you simply carry on as normal and allow to be discovered whatever emotions float to the surface, and act upon them or otherwise. Good luck. Sash.

when i eventually crawled into bed at 6:30 this morning after a 12 hour shift it was with my nice warm cuddly wife, the cat joey, and my two yr old son who had a bad night and wanted a cuddle. so a pretty full bed. anyway your better off without the awful boyfriend, just think you dont have to fight for the duvet, put up with his snoring, his smelly farts or bad breath and bo. and you wont get woken up evrytime he turns over or pokes you in the back and you have the whole bed to sleep on, no more wondering if your gonna fall out!

It was just me....as usual =o( Occasionally my dog will sleep w/ me but then I have to kick her out in the middle of the night because she becomes too much of a bed hog! lol!!
Btw, I know how ya feel. I practically lived w/ a bf while we were together & then when we broke up I had a hard time sleeping at night for a lil while until I got used to being by myself in the bed.

Give it a day or two and you'll realise what a luxury it is having a bed to yourself. Forget about eating or drinking after you've cleaned your teeth and take a glass of something enjoyable to bed with you. That and a good book, or some nice music and you'll be sleeping better than ever
i went to bed with Tom Sharpe - or at least, one of his humerous novels lol

Congratulations on your new freedom from that excess weight!:D
I shared my bed with my five year old daughter, cuz it was about 80 degrees last night, and she doesn't have air conditioning in her room. It's a King Size and yet somehow, she always manages to throw her arm over my face or kick me in the back while she sleeps!!!
I came back to read other's responses. I vote Chalupa get best answer!:D

My sweet puppy dog. Boyfriend worked night work. She hates it when he comes home in the morning, because she gets kicked out until I leave for work and then she gets my spot. Get a pet to share your bed with! Especially a cuddly one. Cats are good for that too but sometimes, they lay on your chest or head. : ) It's nice, but it makes it hard to sleep!

Mizza, it's really hard to adjust to sleeping in a bed alone, when you have done it for so long. I have been sleeping alone for a long time, and I would give just about anything to have the one back, that I used to sleep with. Still brings a tear to my eye. No one to say good morning to, no one to watch sleep, no one to make coffee for... no one to bring breakfast to... Oh man... life stinks

I slept with the love of my life. Yes sleeping alone again is a rough one. Don't get another simply out of loneliness, it never works.
