if yes from which university, in india, did icfai got the affiliation?

No,It is not AICTE or NAAC approved. I have got admission in it and got the branch Electronics and comm. Butr i m not joining the course.

1.there is no such thing called affliated university.
2.institutions are affliated to a(n?) university for awarding a degree or diploma.
3.deemed university is authorised to award degrees
4.autonomous institutions can conduct there own affairs without refering to universilty and seeking permisssion.
5.uninversity and deemed university are creatd by an act of a state government.
6.icfai(US) is a professional body has no statutatory powers
7.icafi unversity is a unversity created by the act of certain states.
8.iim is not a university and hence cannot award degree,so it awards a dipl (pgdm) which is recognised as equivalent to pg degree by other universities and the govts.

ICFAI university Dehradun and Tripura Are UGC recognised state private university. Its degrees are equivalent to any degree from any other university. Pl. check UGC website and U can also verify it by giving a call to UGC at phone no given in the site at contact us
