i have a detached father, an unhealthy relationship with my mother and only sister. . I think that i am only attracted to the masculinity of men, their strong muscular bodies and angsty disposition. I masturbate thinking of men. I grew up surrounded by girl bestfriends, never having the chance to be with real guy groups. I plan to have children someday, too. If i bond with straight men, my classmates( im 15) , will my heterosexuality eventually come out of its shell,?

Most 15 year olds know precisely what turns them on. Based on what you have said, I think it most likely that you are gay. But it has nothing to do with your detached father or relationship with your mother. Your inherent sexuality is product of biology not family relationships.

The world is changing. If you want children some day you can have them gay or straight (but please not for about 10 years or so).

And by all means bond with straight male friends in age-appropriate activities that you enjoy. I doubt it will have any affect on your sexuality but it will probably be more fun than not doing so. And at 15, even if you think you are gay, it is OK to date girls. The point is, don't chose a label and adopt a paradigm for life based on that label. Be a teenager first.

Too bad for you. Many people become gay because of issues with their parents. You are not alone.

However know you have choices. Never accept that what your parents did pre destines you to a specific lifechoice as people who tell you this do so out of their own selfishness.

Focus on your self, form goals for yourself. Specificity is the key to obtaining your goals. Work to become the person you want to be and you will get to love the accomplishments you are capable of.

all of these things are steriotype sings, signals, characteristics, or cause of homsexuality. and though most striotypes come from somewhere, none of these things mean that you will ge gay. Also, why wouldn't you want to be, there is nothing wrong with it, and you make thousand of friends every day just from telling a single person.

umm I'm tossing up whether you are real ... seeing as what your saying is what some people believe causes homosexuals. I will however go on record saying its normal and there is no cure ... no amount of bonding will do that.

Homosexuality is clearly condemned by the Bible. It goes against the created order of God. He created Adam and then made a woman. This is what God has ordained and it is what is right. Unlike other sins, homosexuality has a severe judgment administered by God Himself. This judgment is simple: They are given over to their passions. That means that their hearts are allowed to be hardened by their sins (Romans 1:18ff). As a result, they can no longer see the error of what they are doing. Without an awareness of their sinfulness, there will be no repentance and trusting in Jesus. Without Jesus, they will have no forgiveness. Without forgiveness, there is no salvation
