It could be stress, or hormonal changes, or there could be a medical reason for it. You should see your family doctor for a complete check-up.

I've been there and it's mostly to the ones closest to you, right? It's important for you and me to stay away from sweets, pop and even pasta, white bread, milk and fruit. Those things are treated exactly like candy inside the body and they become addicting, they also react with our hormones, allowing us less control over our anger. Higher fat is relaxing, higher protein gives us the right amount of hormones. That doesn't mean you won't get angry, I still do but I have found I have much more control, a choice. This way, I don't regret what I do everyday. Also, the more you regret, the more depressed you become. Rather than regret, apologize immediately because it gets harder and harder to as time goes on, until we eventually forget about what we did.

Good Luck, man.

Have you tried experimenting with any psychoactive drugs within the last 18 months? Such as illicit ones like LSD, ecstacy, or even prescription drugs like antidepressants? This can frequently be a cause for such a turnaround. Anything from your past that you feel cheated or used about... if so, go talk to a psychiatrist or counsellor about it. Don't let it get out of hand anyway... you may end up having an attitude towards yourself and taking that anger out on yourself with obvious consequences.

I think that is good that at least you have noticed that you are having troubles to control yourself. This means that you are probably prone to solve it. May be you are under a lot of stress because something wrong happened in your life recently. In that case, you should focus on trying to solve that problem or at least try to confront it in a different way. It may happen too that you have been under pressure (for work or something else) for a long time and you don´t even noticed it, but you feel that you´ve already get enough of that. It happens more often than we think. May be you need some rest in the first place. Don´t feel guilty, everybody gets out of his or her nerves from time to time.
Good luck!

Have you changed your diet or sleep patterns lately? If so, it could be a hormonal thing, maybe consult with an endocrinologist. You could try deep breathing exercises or biofeedback or relaxation classes. Perhaps a work out program to help you burn off then excessive energy will be a good thing! Cut out refined sugars and alcohol for a while and see if there is a difference!

you might have some unresolved built up anger inside you, so in the present, whenever anybody does anything, thats enough to ignite the flames, my try see how you could see a psychologist rather than a psychiatrist because i believe your problem is anger management as opposed to psychiatric.

sounds like you may have unfinished business with someone and this is fueling your anger take that second and assess the situation to see if it merits anger, finish the business and let it go. maybe you should try to do things that bring you happiness. because if you can't make yourself happy or know what makes you happy how can anyone else complete this task to make you happy.
