All kinds of weird and crazy things will happen during pregnancy. It's all normal. Relax and try to enjoy this very specail time in your life. Write about it in a journal so you can share it with the baby when it gets older and laugh together.

Yes. With first pregnancy was just water that tasted bad - metalic is the right word. I tried at least 10 different brands until I found one that wouldn't taste like anything. With my second, during the first 3 months everything tasted bad - it was awful, it would make me feel so sick. Thank God, I'm better now (23 weeks pregnant) although I might get that taste occasionally.

I found that during my last pregnancy (last year), that I had the most awful taste in my mouth. It's like it came from my stomach all the way up to my mouth.
I began cutting things out of my diet as I felt that it had to have been something I was eating. Several months later, I ran out of milk & the taste went away! I couldn't drink milk or I'd get that awful taste. To describe it: it tasted as if I were eating cat poop out of a litter box. So disgusting.
I'd try cutting things out of the diet & see if it improves.

I ended up with the metal taste which was nasty, not only that it makes you nervous because tasting metal is a sign of metal poisoning, but if I really craved something life say froot loops (which I am craving right now despritely) I can taste them, it is just your bodies way of telling you what you need, as far as vitamins, minerals etc go.

Hummmm and I thought I was the only one... My second pregnancy found me feeling like I had always just drunk whole-fat milk (which I haven't drunk in about 11 years) it was very unpleasent but nothing to worry about.. it's usually due to the rising hormones and their effect on your body, particularly the digestive system.. If is really annoying or gets worse then check with your OBGYN and ask if there is something you can take that will help (I just stuck it out with lots of gum and parsley) Good Luck to you!
