The empathy I have flows towards those I love and respect.
When I connect with someone, it feels comfortable, warm, and open. That's never a bad thing for me ever. :)

I become too involved with people even though I like to keep a wall around myself.....if I let a crack in mine it always ends up wrong.....but I love to listen to others....really listen no matter how many times they have said something...I just care for how people are

Being empathetic is sometimes a curse. When you can't help another person to change the mood they're in it causes you to fall into their mood. It can be destructive if they are really "down".

i have to be careful with that, sometimes it's so much that i end up feeling down when a lot of people come to me with problems or bad news. i'm still working on finding that balance.
