What was it like being treated in a US hospital int he 1970's.

e.g. were the docotors bad, were you forced treatment

Having been in health care since 1973 I have seen all sorts of changes.The treatment of illness has improved and the diagnosis has improved,But there are new problems we face with the aging population.
New technology from the diagnosis to treatment.Have improved the quaility of care,but the individual 1 on 1 fo nurse - patient or doctor - patient is still there.
Truly the profession has gone from "healthcare" to "heath Industry".

treatment was very good, doctors at that time spent more time with you, health insurance was inexpensive, there were also free clinics.
Of course today there has been many advances in medicine, but you pay the price for it.
The 1970's were not primitive times.
