I received a Ouija Board for my 14th Birthday last week but have been unable to get it to work. Does anybody have any tips or pointers on how to connect with the spirits?

It sounds like it is broken, I heard they had a recent recall on these due to a chance interaction with the fibers used in the boards construction that made them act as a screen. You should be able to exchange it for a working one.

You must remain serious when using it. If you joke around while using it or with it, it will not respond or if it does it will not give you correct answers...it will play around with you on the board. Don't use it by yourself. Use it with another person..if sitting on floor have board sitting in your laps...if at table have your legs under the table so if the table was not there it would be resting on your legs. Place your fingers very, very lightly on the pointer to the point were you are barely touching it. If you come across a evil/strong spirit..be stearn with it, respect it, and let it know you won't tolerate it's behavior. Good luck!

Are you with a group of people, you have to have more than one person on the plancet for it to work. Also, I only do it at night. What ever you do be careful. It seems dorky of me, but watch out that you make sure you end communication and don't let anything in that shouldn't be in. I have seen Ouija go bad before.

you must have a very clear thought on what you are consulting the board for and then have a clear mind to help channel. i, personally don't use the boards because its like calling a random phone number, you really don't know who or what will pick up at the other end.

my advice would be dont mess with it.its not a toy i have had some really bonechilling experinces with that thing.including a spirit who said he would appear if a child could die.planchette was going so fast we had to write down letters and dechiper it after. you have to be really careful and believe it or not maglicous spirts will lie to you
