With the way Detroit and Cleveland are playing the Yankees have not a shot to win the Wild Card, they would have to win 80% of there games to even have a shot. Today on June 14th is the first time all year they are over .500. Cleveland is the best team in baseball at home and Detroit has one of the best pitching staffs in baseball.
As soon as every Yankee fan wakes up and realizes they will not catch Boston, let alone Be within 3 games of the wild card at years end the better off they will be. Maybe they will trade some of there over the hill 20 million dollar players and get younger and have a shot again in the next few years.

I agree. I mean there at 8.5 right now. I just don't understand why people keep saying that the Yankees won't win the division. I have every confidence in them that they will win the AL East. There's still a lot of baseball left to be played, 99 games. A lot can happen in that many games. I mean in the blink of an eye they went from last to 2nd. Let's go Yankees.

I love the hypocrtitical Yankee fans, they bashed anyone who said the Yankees wered done yet they want to give them the division and they are still 8 games out, guess what you arent going to overtake the Sox, yes you made up some ground but you are still 8 games back, that is a lot. Yankees fan are talking about how the Sox fans are talking much, sorry we are on here having actual conversations instead of being like Yankees fans who a) hide when their team loses or b) cant stop living in the past, guess what a****** this aint 1978! The Sox will have the lead back up to 10 over the weekend and Yankees fan will go into hiding again because Yankee fans are nothing but trolls who cant admit their team sucks this year, remember you are still only 1 game above .500, I wouldnt start talking trah yet!

I don't think the Yankees will over come Boston...Yankees are doing very well right now by having both their pitching and hitting heat up plus hitting the good teams when they are slumping. However, they are still 8.5 games back and they aren't going to win every game the rest of the way. Am I a little worried? Yeah, a little. Do I still think the Red Sox will win the division? I honestly do...although the Yankees are starting to change my mind about the wild card though.

Personally, I could care less. I can't wait for the Royals to overtake the White Sox for 4th place in the Central. Yankees on top of the AL East happens every year, the Royals in 4th place is a once in a decade thing anymore.

By the way, If Jesus hates anybody, which really isn't in his nature, it would be the Sux. Why, 1978, 1986, to name just two. Seasons that blew up so badly, that only Divine intervention could have caused it. If you ever thought that the crap was coming down from the heavens, it's because it was.
