If it really bothers you and you just gotta know, let him know nicely. Keep the conversation on the subject. If he refuses to tell or you suspect a lie, tell him that you are going downstairs and will use whatever tools necessary to open the drawer. If he doesn't want the cabinet destroyed, he should open it himself. But, I'd suggest to forget about the whole thing. What's in there may not be as bad as you imagine. It actually could be a surprise for you that he wants to keep secret until the right moment. Or maybe it's something embarassing to him. In that case, you won't gain anything but well deserved resentment from him. Even if it is something bad, truth has a funny way to always surface no matter how many locks you keep it under.
