Is it ok to wear socks with sandals in US?
Is it ok to do so anywhere else? Where?

anyone who wears socks with sandles around here I automatically think they come from England. It's not an Aussie thing to do. I couldn't imagine the people in US wearing that combination either.

It is never, ever ever acceptable to wear socks with sandals. OK. I take that back. Perhaps a trip to the emergency room God forbid. Thats you taking someone else- You know running out the door and all you can find is the pair you left at the door. But don't leave yourself the opportunity to be taken to the hospital wearing such, your treatment may depend on it. Good Lord. Come on people. Lets use our heads.

I think sandals should be worn without socks.
If its too cold to wear sandals without socks then just wear normal shoes!!!
