does a company have a legal right to keep a log of who is driving a van at a particular time of day? The problem is one of our vans has been caught speeding and we do not know what driver was in that area on that afternoon.

yes it is legal and most company vans have the tracking system so they know where the vans are and at what time.

The company must record all the drivers using the vans so that when it is reported for speeding, the culprit will readily be identified.

aparently yes you can now get a sat box like the ones they wanna put in all our cars but i wouldnt advise doing that unless this becomes a constant problem its not good.

surely they should have something, saying when a certain shifts, start and end,also who does the certain drops off, if they haven't they are very badly run, all the best
