I'm not looking for the meaning in the dictionary or what you have to show from an encyclopedia...I wanna know people's opinions on it. What is Philosophy to you?

philosophy to me is learning and understanding different things in life and how we would deal with things. it's being open minded to different stuff and trying to see the other person's point of view and not judging it but understanding it. not being afraid to go above and beyond the surface being open to change that's philosophy to me

There are some benefits to studying all man's intellectual mistakes but fundamentally philosophy is a failure. It has never found meaning for man. It has been looking from the wrong perspectives throughout its history and does not help us in finding meaningful direction.

Just a word. Words only mean what you want them to mean.
To me philosophy represents a deeper thinking and a higher understanding of the universe around us.

The search for the meaning of life. The battle between good and evil. The struggle to survive and better yourself, without doing harm to your fellow man. The struggle for happiness and fulfillment and love. The struggle to come to terms with death and unhappiness and destruction and evil.
